Postgraduate study

Postgraduate papers are offered through the Massey University programme structure and taught from the School of Public Health. These will be of interest to health professionals, policy makers, and researchers from diverse backgrounds in the health sector, and related sectors such as environment, occupational safety and health, and social services. 

Postgraduate Diploma in Public Health (PGDipPH)

The Postgraduate Diploma in Public Health will appeal to people wanting a grounding in public health. Available in Wellington, papers are offered in block mode. One year full-time study or part-time study.

The Master of Public Health programme provides a high quality, comprehensive education and training in public health. Available via distance learning.

Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) (College of Health) 

Enrolment for a PhD is available to candidates who have completed a Bachelors or Masters degree with First Class Honours or Second Class Honours (Division I), or those who hold comparable qualifications. Available at Wellington, Manawatu, and Albany. Three years full-time or six years part-time study.
